That’s how it began.
A comment over dinner that landed and made me smile.
Over the past months, i’ve been working on updating my website. A new structure, clearer content and a clearer direction for 2026 and beyond. More work than i first expected, and at the same time very enjoyable. And perhaps above all, an opportunity for me to become clearer with myself.
Throughout the process, i’ve been reminded again and again how easy it is to forget the broader perspective. All the assignments. All the people. All the conversations about direction, responsibility, courage and change. Work that, in one way or another, is often about leadership and about recognising the importance of both tangible and human values, when it is allowed to be both human and strongly forward-moving.
There is also a part of me i not so often write about but it is always present is my more intuitive compass. The one that senses timing. When something is ready or clear enough, when it is time to take a step forward.
The Year of the Snake is coming to an end according to Chinese astrology.
Today, on 17 February, the year of the fire horse begins. For me, it is no coincidence that today is the day the new website goes live. It reflects more clearly what i do today, refining leadership with a focus on human sustainability, clarity and results.
And yes, the trees and the sea are still there in the pictures . They ground me and bring me joy, even though this time i chose a city image first, a place where many people meet me at my office.
